Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for diesel engines and related subsystems, addressing operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting requirements.
  • Create, review, and maintain service engineering documentation, including operation manuals, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting guides, and service procedures.
  • Develop and modify engineering designs and models using Creo as per project requirements.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in engineering designs and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely execution of engineering and service-related deliverables.
  • Work closely with customers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve serviceability.
  • Support product lifecycle activities, including design reviews, engineering changes, field issue analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in technical discussions and coordinate with U.S. and India-based teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and service-related communications for customers and management.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Service Engineering, Technical Support, Service Documentation, or related engineering functions.
  • Experience working with customers and OEMs in service engineering, technical documentation, or support environments.
  • Proven experience in engineering design and 3D modelling using Creo
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their subsystems.
  • Strong understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Knowledge of service engineering processes, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting methodologies, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of project management principles and experience managing engineering deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively with global cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Willingness to work in the 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (IST) shift to support collaboration with U.S. teams.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid work model (In-office and work-from-home).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connectivity for remote work.
