Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop detailed 3D part and assembly models, along with accurate 2D manufacturing drawings, using Autodesk Inventor in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards.
  • Create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings for steel processing line equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, project specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Manage engineering design data using Autodesk Vault, ensuring proper document control, revision management, and effective collaboration across project teams.
  • Review engineering drawings, layouts, and 3D models to verify dimensional accuracy, tolerances, material specifications, manufacturability and overall design integrity.
  • Support the Project Leader in delivering engineering projects within agreed schedules while maintaining the required quality and technical standards.
  • Apply engineering best practices to improve design quality, drafting efficiency and standardization across projects.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company procedures and quality management requirements.
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 3 to 4 Years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD for mechanical design, detailing and layout preparation.
  • Experience in industrial equipment or steel plant engineering projects is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Commitment to quality and customer-focused delivery.
  • Experience with Autodesk Vault.
  • Project coordination and schedule adherence.
