Key Responsibilities:
    • Create, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Creo and PLM tools.
    • Develop machine layouts, assembly layouts, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with design requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with company, industry, national, and international engineering standards.
    • Process and execute internal engineering work requests within defined timelines.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and product engineering.
    • Participate in and conduct Drawing Quality Reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.
    • Generate and manage engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related product documentation.
    • Apply GD&T principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design-for-manufacturing best practices during product development.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, quality, and productivity.
    • Maintain engineering data and documentation within PLM systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, mechanical design engineering, or a related engineering environment.
    • Proficiency in Creo (latest version) for both 2D drafting and 3D modelling is mandatory.
    • Experience in the design of press tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly fixtures, and machine tools.
    • Hands-on experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
    • Understanding of heat treatment processes and their effects on component distortion, dimensional stability, and material properties will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in preparing and reviewing manufacturing drawings for castings, forgings, and corresponding raw material blanks will be an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with surface engineering processes, including case hardening, nitriding, and various coating technologies, will be an added advantage.
