Key Accountabilities:
- Will be responsible for the detailed design, drafting, and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, reactors, boilers, and other non-moving equipment in industrial plants.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and design documents for static equipment based on project specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Ensure that all drawings are clear, precise and comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, EN, and ASTM).
- Create detailed fabrication drawings.
- Develop 3D models of equipment using CAD software (e.g., Inventor/SolidWorks/Catia and AutoCAD).
- Support the project leader in ensuring the project is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- The role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience Range - 2 to 4 Years
- Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor/SolidWorks/Catia and AutoCAD etc.) and 3D modelling.
- Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ASME, API, EN, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience with static equipment design and detailing.
