Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting knowledge of wiring harnesses and electrical routing for engine, genset, battery module etc.
- Create component, wiring harness 3D models & 2D drawings along with schematic using Creo tool.
- Interpret electrical schematics and translate them into harness layouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and release.
- Select appropriate connectors, wires, and protective coverings based on application.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. UL, ISO, SAE).
- Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and documentation for harness assemblies.
- Should be able to work individually and/or with a small team actively to do on time delivery.
- Ensure the deliveries are met as per the set requirements and timelines.
- Ensures design correctness and completeness for all wiring harness, schematic & wiring harness installation releases within the area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of wiring harness installation will be value added.
- Knowledge of supporting prototype builds and resolve issues during testing and validation will be value added.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 2 to 4 Years of working exp. in Creo Wiring Harness
- Able to Understand the requirements shared by Customer to create the drawings.
- Control panel design and development, 3D model creation along with Component and Sub assembly.
- Creating the Wiring harness drawing creation using Creo cabling.
- Electrical component knowledge and able to create the library components required for harness.
- 3D model Creation for Mechanical and Electrical Parts, Flattening the 3D drawing to 2D.
- Wiring diagram creation, Through Understanding of Electrical components and assembly.
- Requirements Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics Engg or equivalent
- Hands on experience on Creo cabling. Experience working on PLM Windchill and its process.
