Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and technically strong M.Tech/M.E. Mechanical Engineering graduates to join our Structural Design and CAE team. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of engineering mechanics, finite element analysis (FEA), and structural behaviour of components and systems. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed academic projects, thesis work, or internships related to structural simulations, durability, crashworthiness (LS-Dyna), or other CAE applications in the automotive sector.
The selected candidate will work closely with experienced engineers to support product development activities through simulation-driven engineering and structural design analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support structural design and CAE activities using LS-Dyna for automotive components and systems.
- Develop finite element models and perform structural simulations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Conduct linear and non-linear structural analyses to evaluate component performance and integrity and its correlation, if necessary.
- Interpret simulation results and assist in identifying design improvements.
- Assist in model preparation, meshing, boundary condition definition, and result post-processing.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation.
Educational Qualifications
- M. Tech in ME / MTech in Design/Mechanical/Automobile/CAD-CAM
- Strong academic background in:
- Strength of Materials
- Finite Element Method (FEM)
- Machine Design
- Engineering Mechanics
- Materials Engineering
Required Technical Skills
- Good understanding of structural mechanics and finite element analysis concepts.
- Knowledge of stress, strain, deformation, fatigue, buckling, and failure mechanisms.
- Familiarity with CAD and CAE (LS-Dyna) tools used for structural analysis.
- Exposure to one or more CAE software packages such as:
- Hyper Mesh
- LS-DYNA (preferred)
- Basic understanding of meshing techniques, material properties, and simulation workflows.
- Ability to interpret and communicate engineering analysis results.
