Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to understand the requirements and the Scope and approach of the project.
- Pre-processing - Geometry Clean-up in Ansys Space claim, assigning material properties and Preparation of Model including Contacts, loads and boundary conditions in Ansys.
- Post-processing (Interpretation and discussion of Results)– Validation of results through sanity checks. Comparing the results against acceptance criteria.
- Design recommendations (if acceptance criteria are not met): Suggest design changes based on the results to meet acceptance criteria or to optimize the design.
- Peer reviews.
- Preparation of comprehensive analysis reports.
- Interact with customers to update/discuss on project status and deliveries and meeting project timelines
Skills and Experience Required:
- ME / M Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with Experience: 0 to 6 months
- BE / B Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with Experience: 6 months to 2 Years
- Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Experience of carrying out analysis in ANSYS.
- Ability to carry out analytical calculations using engineering fundamentals
- Ability to understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and system, define analysis approach with appropriate loads and boundary conditions, and define appropriate acceptance criteria.
- Ability to interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in simulation-based design.
